Stehekin Valley Ranch
Welcome to Stehekin Valley Ranch. Opened in 1983, the Ranch is run by Cliff and Kerry Courtney. The Courtney family has been running outfitting trips throughout the North Cascades of Washington State for over 50 years.
Growing up as the youngest of 6 brothers (a younger sister came along 6 years later), Cliff has lived in the Stehekin Valley pretty much all his life. As a young adult, he did travel into the outside world for work, but he always came back to the place he calls home. To this day, all 5 remaining brothers still live and work in the small community (about 80 residents) of Stehekin. His sister is still close by in Chelan.
The Ranch is a relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. We enjoy visiting with folks from all walks of life. The surrounding beauty, and laid back atmosphere seem to be a winning combination for people looking for a break from their ordinary lives.
For more information on the accomodations and activities available at the Ranch, visit our website at: www.stehekinvalleyranch.com.

I love your site. Keep it up !

We visited Sunday, July 24th and out on the 25th and wished we could have had MUCH more of the Ranch!! Our cabin was cozy, very clean, quiet oh so quiet but for the wind in the treetops and the river, and the meals were fantabulous!! Each meal was cooked to perfection and I’m not lyin! The help was cheerful, friendly and fun. We went on a rafting trip and thoroughly enjoyed every minute! The guides, Clayton, Tevra and Colter (hope I spelled it right!) were profecssional but what a blast we all had! We hope to bring our grown up families of 8 kids and kids-in-laws and 8 grandkids to experience this very special place with us next year. KUDOS to Cliff, family, employees and all of Stehekin!!
